At the the age of nine, while on a vacation with my family in the Smokey Mountains of North Carolina, a dream was born.

While in the village gift shop, time stood still as I looked around fascinated with all the goodies in stock, intrigued with a magical sense of delight which began to flow through me. I then became aware that others seemed to be uplifted in a similar way. My attention then shifted to the shop keeper, who looked happier than any other person I had ever seen "working." I knew in an instant what I wanted to be when I grew up! I, too, would have a gift shop of my own one day. I began to imagine what I would place on the shelves, tuck into the decorative barrels and nestle within pretty little baskets.

I have stocked my "shelves, barrels, and baskets" with carefully chosen , and mainly handcrafted treasures, intended to inspire you all with the wonder and enchantment of an innocent child.
