There is a place I like to go
when I am bored and things are slow,
or maybe on a rainy day,
there is a place I like to stay.
I grab my Mom and out we run
to find this place I find so fun.
Its big and quiet, but with lots to do,
with many interesting things
for me and you.
There is music to hear,
art and movies to view.
There are storytellers to take me
to places far away,
to scary places dark and grey.
Or perhaps a fairytale
about a princess' fate.
I can read something for myself
And imagine I am someone great,
Or I can go on an adventure grand,
There are times when I've
learned something I didn't know,
like about Custard's last stand.
It is almost magical
This place I like to be,
