Signature Files

"What is a signature file or a Sig?"
It is your signature, your business card, your standard form for ending an E-mail message.

"What do I put in it?"
You should put in your name and your E-mail address along with some other pertainent information. Don't try to be "funny" or "cute" with this information. Keep in mind that this will be added to every E-mail message which you send. A "funny" or "cute" saying will loss its humor after being seen serveral times. Also keep in mind that you will be sending E-mail to different audiences which might interpret the humor differently.

"How long should it be?"
Keep it short. 3 or 4 lines should be considered the ideal maximum. Remember that long messages take up more space on the server computer and as a result add cost to the message.
